Too often the religious significance of Easter is forgotten and children are too enraptured by all the candy to think of the deeper meaning of Christmas. Simple Figurines

You will need some clay pots for this. You can buy small terra cotta like pots for this craft. Look at a local gardening, hardware store, or even a 99 cent store for suitable pots. They shouldn't be more than two to three inches high. With a two and a half inch diameter. You will also need small wooden balls, look for them in craft and bead stores.

Paint the pot with white acrylic paint. The wooden ball will be the head so paint it flesh colored. You will probably need to give both pot and ball a second or third coat, usually a second coat is sufficient.
